Who’s behind this

I’m Sheldon Whyte. I’ve worked in IT since the late 1980s — long enough to remember when a brand-new IBM PC sat ignored in a corner of an office while the real work still happened elsewhere. Cloud and AI didn’t erase that pattern; they amplified it. The hard part is rarely spinning up a service. It’s knowing which investment to fund, how to govern risk, and how to keep security and cost from becoming afterthoughts.

AWS Master is where I publish study guides, architecture notes, and practical checklists I’d want myself when preparing for certifications or building a business case for AI. The tone stays practical: cite primary sources, say when something is partner-only or still in preview, and avoid inventing affiliate programs or payment links.

What you’ll find here

How the site is funded

No display ads. Monetization is intentional and limited: free guides may later include approved course affiliate links (Coursera is in review on Impact; DataCamp declined; Linux Foundation is blocked on Awin publisher approval; Udemy not yet applied). Until a program is approved, course links stay plain. The checklist PDF is self-sold. See the affiliate disclosure for the full picture.
